Our Mission
Our mission is to keep and sustain the genetic purity of all the species that we own. We believe that this is an important step in preserving our birds for future health and conservation efforts.
We have always believed that a bird’s true beauty is that of its natural form. Although birds can be bred for a certain trait or color, above all else we want our birds to remain healthy so that everyone can enjoy these birds in the future.
Our Focus
We want all our birds to feel as safe as possible and in an enclosure that allows them to feel as free as possible. To achieve this it is important that we research every species and give them the requirements that they need. Every species is different and it is important to not overlook the needs of them such as what climate they came from or what their natural diet would be. Recreating these environments for our animals ensures that they feel as natural as possible which we have found produces the healthiest and most colorful birds.
Our Strategy
In order to keep our birds healthy we maintain three strict rules that are always enforced at our farm:
- Every breed and species is kept separate to avoid hybridization
- Regular maintenance of every enclosure to ensure proper care of all birds
- Continuous education is important in understanding and improving our bird's care and health
